Robert L. Perrineau, Jr., Ed.D
Dr. Robert L. Perrineau, Jr. graduated from the FAMU/FSU School of Engineering with a BS in Civil Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics in 1999. He gained valuable teaching experience as a volunteer and mentor in several Leon County Schools. He obtained an initial Educator’s certificate through the SC Alternative Certification Program in 1999, and would complete course work in pedagogy and classroom instruction at the College of Charleston, Coastal Carolina University, and the Citadel Military College of South Carolina.
Upon completing graduate work in Education at Southern Wesleyan University, he received his Educational Specialist and Doctorate degree from Argosy University, Sarasota Florida. He has completed the CCSD Principals for Tomorrow training, various evaluation system professional development, as well as served as a CCSD CIT teacher, Teacher Mentor, Common Core Implementation Facilitator, and athletic coach.
After 12 years as a mathematics instructor, he has served as an Assistant Principal for the past 4 years. Dr. Perrineau is married to Felicia C. Perrineau, and they have 3 children Kyla, Robert III and MaKenzie. He has stated and promotes family and family values as a high priority. Dr. Perrineau is recreational golfer, a collector of music and movies, and a full time advocate of personal success by all individuals he may encounter.
